2009-10 Student-Athlete Physicals Set For August 7

OWINGS MILLS, Md. - The date for student-athlete physicals for incoming freshman and transfers interested in playing athletics for Stevenson University has been set for Friday, August 7 in the Caves Sports and Wellness Center on the Owings Mills campus.

The cost of the physicals will be $20 and student-athletes are asked to wear a t-shirt and shorts.

RETURNING student-athletes DO NOT need to attend the physicals, but MUST turn in all updated paperwork along with a new copy of the front and back of their insurance card by Friday, July 31.

FRESHMEN and TRANSFERS must have their completed paperwork by Friday, July 24 and can use their physical for the Wellness Center. However, you are still required to turn in your completed paperwork for the Wellness Center by Saturday, August 1. This will ensure that you have no problem moving into housing.

The schedule for this year's physicals is as follows:

FALL SPORTS (m&w soccer, field hockey, women's volleyball, m&w cross country)
9:30 AM report time

WINTER SPORTS (m&w basketball, men's volleyball, cheer, dance)
10:30 AM report time

SPRING SPORTS (m&w lacrosse, baseball, softball, golf, m&w tennis)
11:30 AM report time
