Mustangs Drop 2 at #9 Salisbury

Salisbury, MD.-

In Game 1, Villa Julie battled, but came up short as Salisbury won 4-1. Sophomore Chris Hayden pitched 4 innings allowing just 2 runs. The lone run was scored in the top of the 1st on a Sacrifice Fly by junior Alex Laddbush.

Game 2 saw much of the same offense from the Mustangs as they dropped the game 13-2. Junior Storm Griffin hit a solo homerun in the 9th, but the Mustangs could do little more against Salisbury lefty Dan Oleynik. The Mustangs have their conference tournament starting on Friday to determine who will receive the automatic bid to enter the NCAA tournament. The NEAC tournament will be played at Keystone College in LaPlume, PA.
