Baseball Drops Tough 4-3 Decision
Glen Burnie, MD - On a very cold and windy day at Bachman Sports Complex, the Mustangs decided not to bring thier bats. The Mustangs are averaging 10 runs per game but could only muster 3 versus Washington College as they dropped their 9th game of the season 4-3.
Senior Buddy Breidenbaugh pitched well on the mound, 9 innings with 8 strikeouts and allowing 4 runs all in the 5th inning. That is all the Shorebirds needed to steal a game away from the Mustangs. Offensively, Junior Ryan Baione was 4-4, Senior Jimmy Smith chipped in with 2 hits as well.
The Mustangs are back in action Wednesday vs Frostburg for a double header starting at 1 pm. Note the change in time and location. They will be playing at Joe Cannon Stadium.
