Keenan Named to ABCA All-South Region Second Team

OWINGS MILLS, Md. - For the third-straight year, Stevenson University baseball senior Wade Keenan (Eldersburg/Liberty) was named to the ABCA All-South Region Team as a utility player, earning second team honors this season. He was selected to the first team in 2008 and named honorable mention in 2007.

A four-time all-conference selection who was named to the All-CAC First Team for the second-straight year, Keenan finished the season with a .313 batting average and was second on the team with 47 hits. He was also second on the team in home runs and third in runs while leading the team with 11 stolen bases.

On the mound, Keenan led the team in ERA, strikeouts, saves and innings pitched. He was also second in wins.

In four seasons, Keenan totaled a .366 average with 185 hits, 96 RBIs and 53 stolen bases along with 16 wins, 10 complete games, five saves, a school-record 235 strikeouts and a 3.24 ERA in 247.2 innings.
