Tom Goulian Named to All-Mid-Atlantic Third Team

OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Stevenson baseball junior shortstop Tom Goulian (Kinnelon, N.J./Kinnelon) was named to the All-Mid-Atlantic Region Third Team on Monday, becoming the first Mustang to be honored by the website in the program's 14-year history.

Goulian finished third on the team with a .360 batting average this season while leading the team with 45 runs, 58 hits and 10 stolen bases. In the field, he had a career-high .941 fielding percentage, committing a career-low 12 errors in 204 chances.

Goulian was one of seven players from the Commonwealth Conference to be named to the All-Mid-Atlantic Region, including Lebanon Valley's Dylan Tamecki who was named Rookie of the Year. The Mustangs' 2013 opponents had a total of 14 players named to the All-Mid-Atlantic Region Team, including four from Johns Hopkins and four from Alvernia.

Stevenson finished the season with a 25-18 record, advancing to the semifinals of the Commonwealth Conference Baseball Championship in its inaugural season in the league.
