Cheerleading Takes First Place in State Championships

BALTIMORE, Md. - The Villa Julie College cheerleading team earned a first place finish at the Maryland State Cheerleading and Dance Championships today, taking home the Maryland State Championship title in the College All-Girl Division.

The competition, which was held at the First Mariner Arena in downtown Baltimore, earned the team a bid to the national championships which will be held in Fairfax, Virginia in March.

Stevenson will compete at Morgan State in an American Cheer Express regional competition on February 17.
