Cheer Team Takes 1st Place in Maryland State Cheerleading Championships

Baltimore, MD - The Villa Julie Cheer team earned a first place finish at the Maryland State Cheerleading and Dance Championships today, and took home the Maryland State Championship title in the College All-Girl Division.

The competition was held at the First Mariner Arena and also earned them a bid to compete in the National Championships in Fairfax Virginia in March. The cheerleading team will compete next at Morgan State in an American Cheer Express regional competition on February 17th.
