Regina Gregonis
Regina Gregonis begins her first year as head coach of the VJC Dance Team. She was previously assistant coach for two years. Regina became a member the first year the team was considered a varsity sport at VJC. She was a member all four years and captain for two. She won MVP for two years in a row and VJC's Most Outstanding Female Athlete in April 2005. She graduated in 2005 with a BS in Early Childhood Education. She is now a teacher at The Odyssey School in Stevenson, MD and a hip-hop teacher at B.Funk Dance Studio in Ellicott City. Regina has choreographed award winning hip-hop routines for the team at regional and national competitions. In December 2006, the hip hop routine, "Bring 'Em Out" won first place overall in the division and earned Regina a special teacher's award and jacket for her choreography. She has made the team what it is today leading the them to several first place trophies and special recognition awards at their competitions. She has studied ballet, jazz, modern and hip-hop through out her years of dance. She has danced with top choreographers such as Marty Kudelka, Justin Timberlake's choreographer, and Brian Friedman from, "So You Think You Can Dance."

Ashley Dunnigan
Ashley Dunnigan begins her first year as assistant coach for the dance team this season. Dunnigan is a graduate from Villa Julie College, earning a bachelor's of science in 2007.
Ashley studies Ballet, Lyrical, Modern and Jazz throughout high school and college in local studios and dance teams. Her dance experience has led her to be apart of "The Nutcracker" ballet, competition teams, dance company and multiple recitals. Dunnigan began teaching dance at age 16 to dancers ages 8-12 years old in Jazz, lyrical and ballet. She has been involved in organizing and instructing various summer camps.
Ashley brings plenty of experience to the team. Being a member of VJC dance team during college, she was captain 3 of 4 years. Dunnigan has grown with a very potential team of girls and can only help strengthen the team by stepping into coach position.
