In the second game of the day, Johns Hopkins University faced off against SUNY Courtland. The Johns Hopkins Blue Jays were victorious, winning 4-2. Emily Miller, a sophomore forward from Garden City, NY scored 2 goals to help lead the Blue Jays to victory. On the other end of the field, Sophia Tieu, Hopkins' freshman goalie, made 3 great saves. Courtland's Kayla Chambers, a sophomore forward from Craryville, NY, scored one goal and made one assist for the Dragons.
Both teams return to action in the Black Eyed Susan Tournament tomorrow. The championship game will be played at 4:00 p.m.
