Mustangs Loose To Lynchburg 7-1

Lynchburg, VA- The Mustangs were defeated by Lynchburg College this afternoon 7-1. Lynchburg's Jessi Bowman scored the first goal of the day followed by Allie Weir scoring two more before the half was over. The halftime score was 3-0.

Bowman went on to score three more goals and Weir added another goal at the end of the game. Cat Connelly (Fallston, MD/Fallston) scored the lone Mustang goal of the day at 46:44. Goalie, Kara Zimmerman (Odenton, MD/Arundel) totaled 16 saves. Victoria Wolfe (Parkville, MD/Perry Hall) relieved Zimmerman at the end of the game to face a stroke that went wide.

After today's game, the Mustangs' record is 1-4. They are back in action on September 18 at Washington College for a 4:30 start.
