Mustangs Shut-Out Vixens

Owings Mills, MD-

The Mustangs go on a two-game winning streak, shutting out non-conference foe Sweet Briar College 5-0.

Raechel Manly (Bel Air, MD/Bel Air) tallied the first goal for Villa Julie 19 minutes into the game with an assist from Krissy Leventis (Baltimore, MD/Baltimore Lutheran). Sarah Bauer (Baltimore, MD/Perry Hall) followed four minutes later with an unassisted goal. At the 28:40 mark, Emily Pullarn (Perry Hall, MD/Perry Hall) scored assisted by Manly, followed by another Manly goal.

Bauer finished the game with the final goal at 53:50 in the second half.

Goalkeeper Kara Zimmerman (Odenton, MD/Arundel) faced eight shots and made six saves.

With the 5-0 shut-out, the Mustangs’ overall record improves to 3-7.

The Mustangs are back in action at home on October 3 versus Hood College at 4:30.
