Manly Named CAC Player of the Week

Owings Mills, MD-  Villa Julie's midfielder junior Raechel Manly (Bel Air, MD/Bel Air) has been named as the Capital Athletic Conference Field Hockey Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 7, 2007.      

Manly tallied one goal and one assist for the week. She lead the Mustangs to an overall record of 2-1 for the week. She recorded the game-winning goal against Sweet Briar and transitioned well from defense to offense during all of the contests this past week.

Villa Julie defeated Sweet Briar 5-0 and Hood 6-0 before dropping to Lebanon Valley during the week.  (courtesy of CAC)
