SCRANTON, Pa. - Led by a career-high 22 points and six steals from freshman Christian Roberts (Silver Spring, Md./Paint Branch), the Stevenson men's basketball team snapped a two-game losing streak and remained unbeaten in non-conference play this season with a 95-78 victory over Marywood Monday at Insalaco Arena.
The Mustangs (5-4) are 4-0 in non-conference contests this season and have won two of three road games. The last time the team scored at least 95 points was Jan. 3, 2011 in 95-89 overtime victory versus Lehman at Student Union Gymnasium.

Monday marked the second-straight game in which five players scored in double figures for Stevenson and the third time this season. Six players had at least 10 points for the Mustangs in their 86-53 victory over NYU Poly at home on November 24.
Stevenson fell behind by six in the game's first six minutes and trailed by the same margin at 24-18 with 9:36 remaining in the opening half which featured three ties and four lead changes.
However, a 17-2 run gave the Mustangs a nine-point lead, 35-26 with 4:19 to play and they never trailed again, leading for the game's final 26:42.
Stevenson, who led by as many as 23 points in the second half, shot 52.9 percent from the floor and forced 22 turnovers which led to 34 points. The team also held a plus-11 rebound margin and scored 19 second-chance points.
