OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The Stevenson University men's basketball team tips off the 2018-19 season on Saturday, November 10 when the Mustangs host Scranton in a 3:00 contest at Owings Mills Gymnasium. The Mustangs will play a total of 25 games during the regular season.
Stevenson opens with four straight home games to start the year. After beginning the season against the Royals, the Mustangs host the annual Buffalo Wild Wings Classic November 16-17, facing Clarks Summit in the opening round and either Pitt-Bradford or FDU-Florham the following afternoon. The homestand concludes Saturday, November 24 against Penn State Berks.
The Mustangs open MAC Commonwealth play on Wednesday, November 28 at Lebanon Valley, then return home for three games against Lycoming (Dec. 1), Cabrini (Dec. 4) and Albright (Dec. 8). Stevenson concludes first semester conference play on December 15 at Arcadia, then is at Goucher on December 18. 2018 ends with a trip to New York City to compete in Lehman's Coaches vs. Cancer tournament on December 28-29.
The new year begins with a MAC Commonwealth contest at Alvernia on January 3, then the final non-conference game of the year is January 5 against John Jay. The remainder of January consists of six conference contests, including home tips with Messiah (Jan. 9), Widener (Jan. 12), Alvernia (Jan. 23) and Arcadia (Jan. 26).
February sees the final five games of the regular season, all MAC Commonwealth contests. The home finale is February 12 against Hood, while the slate concludes at Albright on February 16. The five-team MAC Commonwealth Championship opens with the 4/5 game on February 18, with the semis set for February 20 and the championship game February 23.
