ANNVILLE, Pa. – Stevenson University senior Montaque Wright and junior Mark Terrell were each honored as the MAC Commonwealth men's basketball All-Conference teams were announced Friday morning. Wright was a member of the First Team, while Terrell was named to the league's Second Team.
Wright started 25 of 26 games for the Mustangs and is averaging 18.2 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.7 steals per game while knocking down a team-high 65 three-pointers. A two-time MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week, Wright ranks second in the conference in scoring, first in steals, fourth in assists and 14th in rebounding. On January 9 against Messiah, Wright recorded the second triple-double in program history, totaling 25 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists.
Terrell, also a two-time MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week, started all 24 games in which he appeared and is registering 17.6 points per game while also grabbing 5.3 rebounds per contest and shooting 59.2% from the floor. He ranks fourth in the MAC Commonwealth in scoring, fifth in field goal percentage and 16th in rebounding.
