Mustangs Finish In 8th At Lebanon Valley
Lebanon, PA- The Mustangs took 8th place, out of 20 teams, at the Lebanon Valley College Fall Golf Tournament yesterday with a team total of 321. As a team, they finished 12 strokes lower then their last day at the Tom Kinder Tournament on Sunday. Captain, Steve Watts (Baltimore, MD/Overlea) had the low Mustang score for the day and tied for 13th overall with a 76 (37-39). Cliff Mangle (Westminster, MD/Westminster) also broke 80, with a 79 (39-40), for the Mustangs.
There was a three-way tie for first individually between Randy Boll and Andrew Woods of F&M and Derek Stewart of Alvernia, who all shot 71. The first tiebreak was hole 11, which Boll shot a birdie 3, Woods par 4, and Stewart a bogey 5. F&M came in first place as a team with 294, followed by York with a 307, and Messiah with a 308.

The Mustangs are back on the course when they host a tri-match with Hood and Keystone on October 4, at Piney Branch Golf Club.
