Mustangs Finish 11th At McDaniel Invitataional
Hampstead, MD- The Villa Julie men's golf squad finished 11th at the McDaniel Fall Invitational, Oct. 14-15. The 36-hole event was held at Piney Branch Golf Club (Par 71 - 6,870 yards).
St. John Fisher took home the title with a two-round score of 599, 16 shots ahead of Wesley in second and 18 shots ahead of George Washington's "B" team in third. The Mustangs continued to improve on the second day, cutting their team score from 331 in the first round to 324 in the second for a total of 655.
Captain, Steve Watts (Baltimore, MD/Overlea) was the top Villa finisher, tying for 27th at 160, with Matt Lukehart (Bel Air, MD/Mt. Carmel) next in a tie for 29th at 161.
