Golf Team Finishes 7th at York

York, PA-  The Villa Julie golf squad played in their first event of the spring at Outdoor Country Club this afternoon.  The Mustangs had two players in the top 20, Cliff Mangle (Westminster, MD/Westminster) with an 81 who tied for 8^th and Steve Watts (Baltimore, MD/Overlea) who tied for 18^th with an 84. 

York won the event with a team total of 310 (+22), followed by Elizabethtown with a 324 (+36) and Messiah with a 339 (+51).  The Mustangs collectively scored a 359 (+71) for the day and finished in 7^th place.

York's Cody Trabert had the low score of the day with a 2-over 74 and Elizabethtown's Dan Senkler came in second with a 5-over 77.

The Mustangs have the week to practice before they travel to Lebanon Valley Country Club next Monday, April 7^th, for the Lebanon Valley Spring Tournament.
