Cliff Mangle Second to Earn CAC Golfer of the Week

YORK, Pa. - Stevenson University men's golf senior Cliff Mangle (Westminster/Westminster) became the sixth Mustang and second male to be honored by the conference this season as he was named CAC Golfer of the Week on Tuesday.
Mangle's teammate, junior Matt Lukehart (Bel Air/Mt. Carmel) received the honor back on September 16.
Joining Mangle and Lukehart are women's volleyball senior Alana Eller (Ellicott City/Centennial) and junior Brittany Umetin (Havre de Grace/Mt. Zion) and women's soccer freshmen Stephanie Eyler (Thurmont/Catoctin) and Brittany Ross (Millersville/Severna Park).
Mangle shot a 74 to tie for third place at the Bent Creek Invitiational hosted by Franklin & Marshall on October 6. In posting his highest individual finish over the past two seasons, he helped Stevenson to a 10th place finish out of 17 competing teams.
This fall, Mangle posted a 79.1 average through eight rounds, ranking him second on the team behind Lukehart's average of 77.0 over seven rounds.
