Angle, Maisel Finish Tied for Third, Mustangs Tied for Second at LVC Invite

LEBANON, Pa. - Freshman Shane Angle and senior Josh Maisel, who both carded a three-over par 75, finished tied for third overall at the LVC Dutchmen Invitational, held at the Lebanon Country Club. The Mustangs finished with a combined score of 313, placing them into a tie for second with host Lebanon Valley. Angle ends his first fall campaign with seven rounds under 80, while Maisel finished up with six. 

Junior Matthew Shur carded a seven-over par 79, giving him three rounds under 80 on the season. Senior Wynn Geis, who was just named MAC Commonwealth Golfer of the Week, shot an 84 to complete the team score for Stevenson. 

Graduate student Matt Rentz, who played as an individual, ended the fall season with an 87. Junior Matthew Maione carded an 89 for Stevenson.

David Herbst of Lebanon Valley took the individual title with a two-under par 70. Penn State Berks won the team championship with a 310.  

This tournament concludes the fall season for the Mustangs, who ended the season with two second-place finishes in a row.
