Geis, Maione Card 78's, Mustangs Take Fourth at Dickinson Spring Invite

CARLISLE, Pa. - Senior Wynn Geis and junior Matthew Maione both carded six-over par 78's to finish tied for 13th overall at the Dickinson Spring Invitational, held at the Carlisle Barrack Golf Course. Maione now has six rounds under 80 on the year, while Geis has five. 

The Mustangs finished fourth out of 12 teams with a team score of 316, which was 18 strokes off the pace of first-place Gettysburg. 

Freshman Mike Festa notched his third-career round under 80 with a 79, placing him into a tie for 16th overall.

Junior Tyler Slusarczyk finished the day with an 81 to round out the team score for the Mustangs.

Junior Jake McNamara, who played as an individual, shot an 83. Graduate student Matt Rentz carded an 84 for Stevenson.

Christian Haldeman and Danny Harcourt of Gettysburg finished tied for first overall, with both players carding a two-over par 74. 

The Mustangs compete next at the two-day Gettysburg Spring Invitational, held at The Bridges Golf Club, starting on Saturday, March 30 through Sunday, March 31.
