Geis Finishes Tied for Fifth at Gettysburg Spring Invite

ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. - Senior Wynn Geis carded a six-over par 77 to finish tied for fifth at the Gettysburg Spring Invitational, held at the Hanover Country Club. Geis now has three top-10 finishes on the season.

The Mustangs, who were competing in their final tune-up before the MAC Championships, finished fourth in the team standings with a total score of 327.

Junior Matthew Shur notched an 81 to finish tied for 17th, while junior Tyler Slusarczyk shot an 84.

Graduate student Matt Rentz finished the day with an 85 to complete the team score for Stevenson. Junior Jake McNamara finished a shot behind Rentz with an 86.

Danny Harcourt of Gettysburg took the individual title after shooting an even-par 71, while his school took the team title by 13 strokes over Lebanon Valley and Stevens with a score of 304 (+20).

The Mustangs compete next at the two-day MAC Commonwealth Championship, held at the Mount Laurel Golf Club, starting on Saturday, April 27.
