ANNVILLE, Pa. - After snapping his 13-point drought with four goals over the weekend, Stevenson men's ice hockey senior Mike Davis was named the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Offensive Player of the Week announced by the league on Monday.
It is the second player of the week honor for Davis in the MAC while marking the fifth offensive player of the week honor for the Mustangs. The team has had a combined eight players of the week in the MAC this season.
Davis ended his scoreless streak with a pair of power play goals against 9th-ranked Utica on Friday before adding a third power play goal on the weekend in addition to the overtime game-winning goal versus Nazareth. His eight power play goals this season currently ranks tied for sixth in Division III. The overtime winner was also the third in a Mustang uniform.
Stevenson concludes the 207-18 regular season on Friday, February 16 when the Mustangs travel to Neumann for a UCHC contest beginning at 7:00 p.m.
