Villa Julie Lacrosse Goes Pink

Owings Mills, MD - The Villa Julie College Men's lacrosse team will be united in a show of support for Villa Julie student Brittany Perkey when they face-off against Stevens Tech on Saturday at 3pm.

Brittany and her boyfriend Cory Baldwin, a sophomore lacrosse midfielder, were involved in a car accident about three weeks ago. Cory suffered minor injuries, but Brittany, a sophomore at Villa Julie, suffered a broken leg and pelvis and head injuries. Brittany is still in a coma at Maryland Shock Trauma Center, but Coach Cantabene said family and friends are hopeful that she will awaken soon.

The players have decided to honor Perkey by dyeing their stick heads pink, her favorite color, and the five-member coaching staff will also wear pink shirts.
