2009 CAC Men's Lacrosse Championship Information

OWINGS MILLS, Md. - The Top seeded and No. 1 ranked Stevenson University men's lacrosse team will face third-seed and No. 10 ranked Salisbury in the championship game of the CAC Men's Lacrosse Championship on Sunday at Stevenson's Caves Athletics Complex in Owings Mills beginning at 1:00 p.m.

The Mustangs (14-0) earned their spot in the final by beating fourth-seeded Wesley at home on Thursday, 19-4. The Sea Gulls (13-3) upended second-seeded St. Mary's (Md.) on the road to clinch their place in the championship game for the 15th consecutive year.

The following is some information to help fans who will be attending Sunday's game.

Concessions

Sodexho will be offering a full service concession stand, serving hot dogs, pretzels, nachos, chips, candy and assorted drinks.

Merchandise

The Stevenson University bookstore will also have merchandise available at the concession stand. Fans can purchase t-shirts, hats and other Mustang apparel.

Parking

Limited parking will be available in the upper lots on the Owings Mills camps. In the event extra parking spaces are needed, fans will be directed to satellite parking lots next to Outback Steakhouse and Bonefish Grill in the Boulevard Corporate Center.

There will also be extra parking available at Beth Israel Congregation and Shire Pharmaceuticals located on Crondall Lane about half-a-mile from campus. Shuttle service will be provided to the Caves Athletics Complex from all satellite parking locations.

Fans are encouraged to carpool if possible.

Restrooms

No access to Caves Sports and Wellness Center will be granted on game day. Portable restrooms have been made available at the end of the field.

Seating

Extra bleachers have been brought in f or the postseason, increasing the field's capacity to approximately 2,500. Seating has been added on the sideline opposite the team benches as well as in the southwest corner of the field, adjacent to the bubble.

All seating is general admission and available on a first come, first served basis. The seating adjacent to the bubble has been reserved for Stevenson students.

Tailgaiting

Tailgaiting will be permitted at the top of the hill next to the Stevenson School of Business and Leadership. No tailgaiting will be allowed in any of the satellite parking lots.

Tickets

limited number of 2,500 tickets have been made available so fans are encouraged to arrive early. Ticket sales will begin at 11:00 a.m., outside the gates which will open at noon.

Tickets will be $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for students and senior citizens and FREE for Stevenson students, faculty and staff with ID. Stevenson University season passes will also be honored.
