Mustang Men's and Women's Lacrosse Teams Get Ready for 2013 Seasons

OWINGS MILLS, Md. - The nationally-ranked Stevenson men's and women's lacrosse teams are getting ready for the 2013 season by making final preparations for their season openers later this month and to help get the fans ready, the athletics department announced important ticket and other information you need to know for this season.

There will be NO season tickets available this year and tickets will only be available at the Mustang Stadium ticket office on the day of the game.

Men's Lacrosse
Adults:  $7
Senior (60 and over):  $5
Non-Stevenson Student:  $5 with student ID
Children (12 and under):  FREE when you wear your team jersey
Stevenson Faculty/Staff:  FREE with SUOne Card
Stevenson Students:  FREE with SUOne Card

Women's Lacrosse
Adults:  $5
Senior (60 and over):  $3
Non-Stevenson Student:  $3 with student ID
Children (12 and under):  FREE when you wear your team jersey

The men's lacrosse team posted an 18-5 record last season while making its fourth consecutive appearance in the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Championship, advancing to the national semifinals for the third time. This season, the Mustangs have been ranked at No. 1 by Inside Lacrosse and No. 2 by Lacrosse Magazine.

Five members of the 2013 Stevenson men's lacrosse team were selected as Preseason All-Americans by Inside Lacrosse, including senior Kyle Holechek (Reisterstown, Md./Loyola Blakefield) who was named to the first team.

The women's lacrosse team finished last season with a 9-7 record and its fifth consecutive appearance in the CAC Women's Lacrosse Championship appearance. The Mustangs were also ranked in the IWLCA Division III Poll for the third-straight season.

The men's game versus Lynchburg on March 30 will also be broadcast on Maryland Public Television. The Hornets were ranked at No. 7 by both Inside Lacrosse and Lacrosse Magazine.
