Cantabene to Throw Out First Pitch at Wednesday's Orioles-Indians Game

OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Stevenson head men's lacrosse coach Paul Cantabene will throw out the ceremonial first pitch at Oriole Park at Camden Yards on Wednesday, June 26 prior to Orioles game against the Cleveland Indians at 7:05 p.m.

The 2013 Commonwealth Conference Coach of the Year, Cantabene led the Mustangs to the first national championship in team and school history with a 16-14 victory over RIT on May 26 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. Stevenson finished with a school-record 22 wins and boasted 11 All-America and two Scholar All-America selections.

The Mustangs were also honored by the Touchdown Club of Annapolis in receiving the Henry Ciccarone Memorial Award as the organization's Collegiate Team of the Year.

Cantabene, who is currently 137-37 in nine seasons as a college head coach, was also selected as the 2013 Division III College Coach of the Year by the youth and college sports network CaptainU.
