Callum Robinson to Play for Australia at World Lacrosse Championship

OWINGS MILLS, Md. – Former Stevenson University men's lacrosse standout Callum Robinson will represent his native Australia as he competes for the Australian National Team at the 2018 FIL World Lacrosse Championship from July 12-21, 2018 in Netanya, Israel.  Australia opens the tournament on Friday against Scotland and will play a total of five games in pool play.

Every game in the World Lacrosse Championship can be seen live in the ESPN App, while Australia's games against the United States (July 14, 7:30 am) and Canada (July 17, 7:30 am) can be seen live on ESPNU.

Robinson, a three-year member of the Mustangs from 2013-15, was a USILA First Team All-American and the Commonwealth Conference Defensive Player of the Year as a senior and was a three-time All-American and three-time Commonwealth First Team selection.  He was a member of Stevenson's 2013 national championship team and was also Capital One Academic All-District as a senior.

In 66 career games as a Mustang, Robinson recorded 238 ground balls and 123 caused turnovers.

Robinson is currently in his fourth season in Major League Lacrosse and his second with the Atlanta Blaze.  This season, Robinson has appeared in 10 games, picking up 19 ground balls.
