Mustangs Earn Plevyak First Win at Villa Julie

Owings Mills, MD.-

Mustangs earn first win of the year, and start Plevyak era in style.  Villa got their season off to a great start with an impressive 4-0 win over PSU-Harrisburg.  Scott Andrzejewski (Towson, MD/Towson), a junior midfielder from, fired 2 shots into the goal to lead the Mustangs to victory.  Andrzejewski's first goal came off an assist from Tyler King (Carney,MD/Calvert Hall) during the first 30 seconds of the game.  Kim Myrick (Columbia, MD/Wilde Lake) and Ben Toplski (Reisterstown, MD/St. Pauls) also scored goals for the Mustangs.  VJC goalkeeper Eric Lowman (Catonsville, MD/Catonsville) tallied 6 saves to shut out the Nittany Lion's offense.

The Mustangs are back in action on Wednesday when they host Rutgers-Camden.
