Mustangs Take Second Win at Home

Owings Mills, MD.-

The Mustangs (2-0) earned their second win of the season as they overtook Rutgers University-Camden (1-2) in second overtime. After a yellow card by Rutgers-Camden, Scott Andrzejewski (Towson, MD/Towson) took the kick, aiming straight for Ryan Payne (Millersville, MD/Old Mill). Payne headed the ball straight into the corner of the goal to bring the game to a close, 1-0. Goalkeeper Eric Lowman tallied 12 saves to shut out the Scarlet Raptors.

The Mustangs are back in action on Friday, September 7 when they travel to Rutgers-Camden to take on Eastern at 5 p.m.
