Seahawks Top Mustangs 1-0

Owings Mills, MD- Villa Julie men's soccer suffered a tough loss at home to St. Mary's College of Maryland. Solid defense and good defending by goalkeeper Eric Lowman (Catonsville, MD/Catonsville) helped the Mustangs hold the Eagles to a scoreless first half. Eagles' senior captain Mikael Tigrett scored the game's lone goal in the 79^th minute.

The Mustangs' offense battled hard in the second half but were unable to come back from the 1-0 deficit. The Mustangs' conference record falls to 1-2 while their overall record drops to 4-6.

On Monday, October 1, the Mustangs travel to Westminster, MD to face Coach John Plevyak's former team, McDaniel College at 4 p.m.
