Box score

YORK, Pa. - No. 3 York (Pa.) outshot the Stevenson University men's soccer team 19-3 and ran its scoreless streak to 561:22 en route to a 3-0 victory over the Mustangs Wednesday afternoon in the CAC opener for both teams.

The Spartans (8-0, 1-0 CAC) have won seven games this season by shutout, five of which have been posted by Kyle Marks who has yet to allow a goal in eight starts and 623:12 this season.

It is the fourth time this year that Stevenson (3-6-1, 0-1 CAC) has been held scoreless with the Mustangs owning an 0-3-1 record in those games.

Stevenson held York without a goal until the 34th minute when Kemal Nuspahic scored his team-leading sixth goal of the season off assists from brother Chris Ports and John Ports.

The Spartans' 1-0 lead would hold into halftime as they held a 12-2 edge in shots and an 8-0 advantage in corner kicks.

Less than 11 minutes into the second half, York would net its second tally when Lucas Emil drove home a rebound for his first goal of the year after his initial shot was saved by Mustang senior Adam Wiatrowski (Baltimore/Patapsco).

Aaron Good capped the scoring with the third goal of the game for the nation's third-ranked team when he scored his first career goal in the 86th minute, assisted by Seth Hurley.

Wiatrowski finished the game with three saves in 86:04 before giving way to freshman Ryan Flannelly (Middlesex, N.J./Middlesex).

Stevenson's best opportunity to score came in the 25th minute, Marks made a diving, one-handed save on a breakaway by sophomore Tyler King (Parkville/Calvert Hall) to keep the game scoreless.

The Mustangs look for their first conference victory when they travel to St. Mary's (Md.) this Saturday for a 2:00 p.m., contest with the Seahawks.
