Wiatrowski Picks Up Shutout Victory at Lancaster Bible

LANCASTER, Pa. - Stevenson University men's soccer senior Adam Wiatrowski Baltimore/Patapsco) made two saves in his to pick up his shutout of the season as the Mustangs snapped a three-game winless streak with a 2-0 shutout at Lancaster Bible Saturday.

Over its last three games, Stevenson (4-7-2) knocked off the Chargers, lost to CAC foe Mary Washington on the road, who is currently in second place, and tied St. Mary's (Md.).

Meanwhile, the loss ended a five-game unbeaten streak for the Chargers (9-2-1) and was just their second loss of the season in 12 contests.

Sophomore Tyler King (Parkville/Calvert Hall) picked up his team-leading fourth goal of the season while senior Bill DePaolo (Perry Hall/Towson Catholic) earned his first points of the season with his first goal of the year.

The Mustangs scored both of their goals less five minutes apart and on either side of halftime.

King scored off an assist from senior Scott Andrzejezski (Lutherville/Towson) with just 1:25 remaining in the first half before DePaolo scored just 2:42 into the second half, assisted by freshman Jake Stocksdale (Hampstead/North Carroll).

King also leads the team with nine points this season, two ahead of Stocksdale.

Stevenson held a 20-5 edge in shots, including a 13-3 advantage in the first half. McLeary made one save in each half while Jake Kreider stopped 10 shots for Lancaster Bible.

The Mustangs host Salisbury in a CAC contest on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
