The Villager Male Athlete of the Week

Stevenson men's soccer freshman Ryan Flannelly (Middlesex, N.J./Middlesex) was selected as The Villager Athlete of the Week on October 8.

Flannelly appeared in both games as a reserve as Stevenson went 1-0-1 in two CAC games against No. 3 York (Pa.) on September 24 and St. Mary's (Md.) on September 27. He did not allow a goal in 98 minutes while totaling two saves.

After playing the final 3:56 of a 3-0 loss at York, Flannelly entered the game at St. Mary's (Md.) with the Mustangs trailing 2-0 and held the Seahawks scoreless over the final 94:04 as Stevenson picked up a key tie in a CAC contest on the road.

Flannelly has appeared in six games this season, making three starts, while totaling a 1.92 goals against average and eight saves in 374-plus minutes.
