Men's Soccer Game With Gallaudet Moved to Thursday

OWINGS MILLS, Md. - For the second time in as many games, heavy rain in the Mid-Atlantic region has forced the postponement of the a Stevenson University men's soccer game. The Mustangs' game with Gallaudet, originally scheduled for Wednesday, has been moved to Thursday because of wet field conditions.
Thursday's game will be the season finale for Stevenson (6-9-2, 2-4-1 CAC) and the final game in the careers of seniors Billy DePaola (Perry Hall/Towson Catholic), Sal Caltabiano (Jarrettsville/Western Guilford (N.C.)) and Ryan Payne (Millersville/Old Mill).
The trio will be honored in ceremonies prior to Thursday's game which is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m.
The Mustangs' game with Wesley on Saturday was pushed back 24 hours to Sunday because of heavy rain and wind on Saturday.
Stevenson is looking to conclude the season with its third-straight conference win and second consecutive at home after handing the Wolverines, who have secured the fourth seed in the CAC Men's Soccer Championship, a 1-0 setback on Sunday on a goal by sophomore Tyler King (Parkville/Calvert Hall).
The Bison (0-16, 0-7 CAC) are looking for their first win this season after having been outscored, 82-4. Jonathan Penny has scored three of the team's four goals to lead the team with six points.
The Mustangs won last year's meeting in Washington, D.C., 6-1. King and sophomore Justin Carver (Manchester/North Carroll) each had goals in the victory.
