LANCASTER, Pa. - Stevenson men's soccer sophomore Kenneth Hersey (Clarksville, Md./Atholton) tied his career high with eight saves but Jared Bomba scored the game winner with 17 seconds remaining to give host No. 14 Franklin and Marshall a 1-0 victory, as the Mustangs suffered their third straight loss Wednesday at Tylus Field.
After scoring nine goals in its first two games en route to starting the season 2-0, Stevenson (4-5-1) has scored just one during its three-game losing streak, all one-goal losses. All five Mustang losses this season have come on the road.

With a minute remaining in the second half, Franklin & Marshall was awarded a free kick just outside the box. Hersey made his eighth save of the game but the ball bounced off his chest and Bomba finished uncontested in front of the net.
For the first time this season, the Mustangs were outshot, 19-5, there lowest shot total of the season. There previous low was nine shots against La Roche in the first game on August 30. Franklin & Marshall also held a 6-3 advantage in corner kicks.
Stevenson returns home on Wednesday, October 2, when they host their final non-conference contest versus Penn State Berks at Mustang Stadium. Game time is 4:00 p.m.
