OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The Stevenson University men's soccer team opens its 2017 season under first-year head coach Graeme Millar on Friday, September 1 when the Mustangs host Washington (Md.) College in a 4:30 match at Mustang Stadium. The contest kicks off a 17-game slate for the Mustangs.
After opening up against the Shoremen, Stevenson is back in action two days later, hosting Hampden-Sydney on Sunday, September 3. The Mustangs also host Randolph-Macon (September 13) and Salisbury (September 20) in non-conference action before opening MAC Commonwealth competition on Friday, September 29 at home against Albright.
October begins with a Monday night game at Johns Hopkins on October 2, before the Mustangs enter conference play for the final seven contests of the regular season. Stevenson hosts Widener on October 7 and closes out the home slate with two games during Homecoming week, against Lebanon Valley on Tuesday, October 17 and Lycoming on Friday, October 20. The regular season concludes with back-to-back road games at Alvernia (October 25) and Messiah (October 28).
The five-team MAC Commonwealth Championship begins with a first round game on Monday, October 30. The semifinals are slated for Wednesday, November 1, with the championship game set for Saturday, November 4.
