Mustangs Defeat Elizabethtown 5-4 on Senior Day

Stevenson, MD.- The Mustangs win the final three matches of the day to steal a victory over Elizabethtown College 5-4.  Villa's #3 doubles team was the only team that smelled victory in doubles as Ryan Woodring and Mike Casalena won 9-7.  In singles action Jason Cohen defeated Ryan Knarr 6-2, 6-1 at the #1 spot, Douglas Ammon defeated Zach Atkinson 6-3, 6-1 at the #4 spot, Korey Garner defeated James Dumbach 4-6, 7-6(5), 7-5 at the #5 spot, and Mike Casalena defeated Brendan Stoler 4-6, 6-0, 6-3 at the #6 spot.

The day was truly a celebration for the 3 seniors as Jason Cohen, Doug Ammon, and Mike Casalena all earned wins in their last home match.  The Mustangs are back in action on Friday as they travel to Birchwood Racquet Club for the NEAC championships.
