VJC defeated by Tri-State 7-2

Hilton Head Island, SC - Villa Julie fell for the second day in a row to Tri-State University from Indiana this time. As in the last match VJC got off to a slow start losing all three doubles matches. There was some spirited play in singles to start off as Ryan Woodring and Ben Petasky won their singles matches to take the score to 3-2. Korey Garner and Ryan Morse played very close matches each saving match points in the second sets to extend their match but eventually succumbed. The Mustangs night match against Juniata was cancelled due to heavy rains and wind on the island. VJC takes the court again tomorrow at 12:30 against Maryville University of Saint Louis.
