ANNVILLE, Pa. – Junior Kendall Belser of the Stevenson University men's outdoor track and field team was named the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Track Athlete of the Week Monday. Belser also collected the honor once during the Mustangs' indoor season.
Belser placed second overall in the 400 meter dash and seventh overall and first among Division III athletes in the 200 meter dash at the Hopkins-Loyola Invitational on Friday. He ran the 400 in a time of 50.11 seconds, while he posted a 22.57 second effort in the 200. The 400 time is the second-fastest in the MAC this season, while the 200 time is fourth.
Stevenson placed second overall at the meet.
The Mustangs are back in action Saturday at the Towson Invitational, while select athletes will compete at the Mondschein Multi at Kutztown Thursday and Friday as well as the Bison Outdoor Classic hosted by Bucknell.
