ANNVILLE, Pa. – Junior Kendall Belser of the Stevenson University men's outdoor track and field team was named the Middle Atlantic Conference Track Athlete on Monday. It is the second straight week that Belser has won the honor.
At Saturday's Towson Invitational, Belser was a part of two strong relay efforts and also threw down a strong performance in the 100 meter dash. In the 4x100 relay, the Mustangs finished fourth behind three Division I squads with a time of 41.96 seconds, which is currently the No. 15 time nationally and No. 1 in the region. In the 4x400, the Mustangs clocked in at 3:21.34, currently the second-fastest time in the conference. In the 100-meter dash, Belser ran in 11 seconds flat, currently the second-fastest time in the MAC.
The Mustangs return to action Friday and Saturday at the Widener Invitational.
