VJC Hosts NECVA Western Conference Match, Day 2

Stevenson, MD.- The Mustangs hosted the second day of matches of the NECVA Western Conference with Nazareth, Medaille, Philadelphia Bible, and Eastern Mennonite.

Match 1:
COURT 1: Medaille played Philadelphia Bible in their first match of today and won 3-0.  The game scores were 30-27, 30-27, and 30-18. 
COURT 2: VJC hosted Nazareth in their first match of the day and fell 3-1.  The game scores were Nazareth 30-22, 30-17, VJC 30-25, and Nazareth 30-15. 

Match 2:
COURT 1: Nazareth played Philadelphia Bible in the second round of play and won 3-0.  The game scores were 30-18, 30-24, 30-27. 
COURT 2: Eastern Mennonite played Medaille in the second round and won 3-1.  The game scores were EMU 30-28, Medaille 30-17, EMU 30-19, and 30-17. 

Match 3:
VJC took on #9 Eastern Mennonite in the last match of the day.  The Mustangs fell 3-1.  The game scores were EMU 30-27, VJC 34-32, EMU 30-21 and 30-28. 

After today's play the Mustangs' record is now 3-6.  The return to the court on Wednesday, February 7 at 7 pm to take on Lancaster Bible.
