Mustangs Lose 3-0 in Final Home Game

Stevenson, MD.- Despite the strong effort of the Mustangs, they were unable to hold off the attack of Newbury College as they were swept 3-0 (34-32, 30-25, 30-26). Freshman Brett Keller (Perry Hall, MD/Loyola Blakefield) led the Mustangs with eight kills, seven digs, and two aces. Junior Zach Drew (Baltimore, MD/ Loyola Blakefield) also tallied eight kills and two aces. Alex Ness (Jarrettsville, MD/ North Harford) and Ryan McDowell (Quakerstown, PA/ St. Joseph's) contributed seven kills each. In addition, Joe Tagye tallied 34 set assists.

This loss brings their record to 9-17. The Mustangs are back in action on Friday, March 23 as they travel to Hilbert to compete in the NECVA Northern.
