Mustangs Host Quint Match

Stevenson, MD- Villa Julie opened the first night of the quint match with a 2-0 record.  They won  their first match against New Jersey City University in four games.  They took the first game 30-26, but the Knights returned to win the second 30-26.  The Mustangs then took the last games 30-20 and 30-21.

In the second match of the night for the Mustangs, they overcame the Hilbert College Hawks in three games.  Line scores were 30-26, 30-28, and 30-21.

On the opposite court, King College and New Jersey City University competed.  King College won 3-0 with lines scores of 30-23, 30-21, and 30-23. 

The Mustangs will continue in the quint match tomorrow, March 1 when they take on King College at 12:30 p.m. on Court 2.  Then they will play at 3:00 p.m. on Court 2 versus Philadelphi Biblical College.  Other games for tomorrow include Philadelphia Biblical versus King and New Jersey City versus Hilbert at 10:00 a.m., Philadelphia Biblical versus New Jersey City at 12:30 p.m., and Hilbert versus King at 3:00 p.m.
