No. 14 Mustangs Rally From Two Sets Down to Defeat Eastern Mennonite

HARRISONBURG, Va. - Led by 13 kills from senior Austin Jacoby and freshman Michael Fehrs, the Stevenson men's volleyball team rallied from two sets down to win a Continental Volleyball Conference contest versus Eastern Mennonite Friday night at Yoder Arena, 24-26, 20-25, 25-19, 25-15, 15-10.

Stevenson (9-5) posted its sixth-straight victory over the Royals and rallied from a 2-0 deficit for the second consecutive meeting after winning in five sets over them on road on Apr. 3, 2013.

Jacoby and Fehrs combined for 26 of the team's 57 kills while senior Jon Martin added 11.

Defensively, the Mustangs totaled a season-high 56 digs, led by a career-high 17 from junior Scott Morantz. Martin added 13 digs and now has 915 for his career.

Junior David Moler totaled 47 assists, nine digs and five kills while sophomore Kyle Pottieger added seven kills and a season-high seven digs.

Quentin Moore led Eastern Mennonite (4-8) with 22 kills while Jesse Reist had 15. Moore also had 14 digs while Matt Dolan and Zach Guiciardi each had 12.

Stevenson returns to action tomorrow when it travels to Marymount (Va.) for a CVC contest beginning at 2:30 p.m.
