Mustangs Split with Hood

Frederick, MD.-

VJC's women's softball team dropped the first game of their double header with Hood College 6-5, but came back to win big in game two, 12-4. In the first game Hood had no errors and the Mustangs had three. Jackie Wineke went 2-3 and Lindsey Mueller went 2-4 with a single and a homerun. In game two the Mustangs had no errors and put up 12 runs on 17 hits. Lorin Mckee went 1-2 with a double. Sam Rice, Tricia Spinoso and Emily Roper all went 2-3. Lindsey Mueller went 3-4 with a 2 run home run and 3 RBIs. Jessie O'Neil went 2-4 with 2 RBIs and Liz Penniman went 2-4 with a double and 2 RBIs.
