Mustangs Make All-Time Record of 19-19

La Plume, PA.-

The Mustangs made a new all-time record, 19-19, this afternoon after sweeping Keystone this afternoon.  Villa beat the Giants 9-5 in the first game and 7-1 in the second. 

GAME 1:  Villa out-hit Keystone 14-9.  Trish Spinoso pitched for three innings and allowed four hits, three runs, two earned runs, and three strikeouts.  Sarah Moelter earned the win pitching four innings with five hits, two runs, one earned run, and two strikeouts.  Offensively, Jackie Dorsey went 2 for 5 and scored one run; Lindsey Mueller went 3 for 4, scored four runs, and had two doubles; Moelter went 1 for 4; Liz Penniman went 2 for 4, had a double, and two RBIs; Sam Rice went 1 for 4 and scored one run; Jessie O'Neill went 3 for 4, scored one run, had two doubles, and two RBIs; Spinoso went 1 for 3 and had two RBIs; and Jackie Wineke went 1 for 4. 

GAME 2:  The Mustangs out-hit the Giants 11-4.  Moelter pitched two innings and had three strikeouts.  O'Neill grabbed the win pitching five innings with four hits, one run, one earned run, and six strikeouts.  Offensively, Mueller went 2 for 3, scored one run, and had one double; Dorsey went 1 for 3, scored one run, had a double, and a RBI; Rice went 2 for 4, scored one run, and had one RBI. 

The Mustangs rest up this week for the NEAC Tournament that begins on Friday, May 4.
