Meyerson has been a member of the softball program at Stevenson since its inception in 2000 and enters her eighth season as the head coach in 2011. She helped start the program as an assistant under Ken Ballance for four seasons from 2000-03.
A member of the NCAA Atlantic Region Advisory Committee, Meyerson also serves as an assistant athletic trainer at Stevenson, a responsibility she has held for 10 years.
Under Meyerson, Stevenson has received 14 all-conference selections, including six first team honorees, two conference Rookie of the Year awards, one ECAC Division III South All-Star and its first-ever NFCA all-region selection.
The Mustangs have also set a school record for wins in a season four times while advancing to the conference tournament in each of the last six years.
Stevenson posted a school record 23 wins in 2010, finishing with its first winning season in the program's 11 years. The Mustangs also boasted their first two CAC Player of the Week selections and had two players named to the All-CAC Second Team.
The team finished fifth in the CAC standings, but won two of their first three games in the CAC Softball Championship to finish third after a 3-0 loss to runner-up York (Pa.) in the semifinals. Meyerson also won her 100th career game with an 8-0 victory over Wesley in the second round of the conference tournament.
In 2009, Stevenson finished 13-21 after starting the season with wins in 10 of its first 17 games. Freshman Lisa Bilski was named CAC Rookie of the Year, becoming the second-straight Mustang to win the award after high school and college teammate Jessica Bandzwolek earned the league's top first year honor in 2008.
Stevenson advanced to the semifinals of the CAC Softball Championship in 2008 after the sixth-seeded Mustangs upset No. 2-seed York (Pa.), 3-2 in the second round. The team finished the season with a 14-16 record and had two players named All-CAC First Team in Bandzwolek and senior Liz Penninman.
A three-time all-conference selection, Penniman finished her career as the school's all-time leader in hits, runs and RBIs and was also named to the NFCA All-Atlantic Region First Team becoming the first player in school history to earn all-region honors.
Meyerson led the Mustangs to a school record 19 wins in 2007 during their final season in the NEAC where they advanced to the conference tournament and finished the season with a 19-21 record. The team boasted four All-NEAC selections, including three first team honorees in Penniman, Lindsey Mueller and Jessie O'Neill. Jaquelyn Dorsey was named to the second team.
In addition, Mueller was named to the ECAC Division III South All-Star Team after totaling 61 hits, 18 doubles, five home runs and 34 RBIs, all school records.
Meyerson led Stevenson to one of its best seasons in 2006 as the team won a then-school record 16 games, going 16-26, finished fourth in the NEAC Softball Championship and had six players named all-conference. Mueller was named to the first team while Dorsey, Bre Wallizer and Alicia Barnard were selected to the second. O'Neill and Penniman were also honorable mention.
In 2005, the Mustangs posted their first double-digit win total since 2001 with a 12-21 record which was one game better than the team's 11-17 mark in its second season.
In her first season, Meyerson led the team to a 9-20 record in 2004.
A 1998 graduate of the University of Charleston (WV), Meyerson spent two seasons as a scholarship player for the Golden Eagles and was named to the WVIAC All-Tournament Team as a junior while receiving her bachelor of science degree.
After graduation, Meyerson spent two years as the strength coach at the Cal Ripken Acceleration Facility in Columbia. She was also an assistant athletic trainer at Coppin State for two years and at St. Frances Academy in Baltimore for three years.
