Baltimore, MD.- The Mustangs traveled to local foe, College of Notre Dame to take on the Gators for a non-conference tilt.  Villa Julie College junior forward Tanisha Foster (Baltimore, Md./St. Frances Academy) scored 25 points and had 16 rebounds, as the Mustangs pulled away for a 70-63 victory.

The Mustangs went up by as many as nine, 33-24, in the first half, but Notre Dame closed the game in the second half, scoring 14 of the first 19 points after the break.

The Gators took the lead three times in the second half, but Villa Julie rallied each time to overcome the deficit.

At 2:29 Notre Dame came within one point of the lead, 64-63, off of two free throws but they were the last points the Mustangs let them score in the game.

Senior guard Cara Hill (Fort Washington, Md./Oxon Hill High School) scored 17 on 6-of-9 shooting for the Mustangs, and sophomore center Andrea Somerville (Hollywood, Md./Leonardtown High School) added 10 points to the win.

With the win, Villa's record improves to 16-8 overall and they remain 12-3 in the NEAC.  Villa Julie will end their regular season on Saturday against SUNY-Purhase at 2:00.
