Chris Ramer begins his fourteenth season as Head Coach of the Villa Julie Women's Basketball team. He is the only Head Coach in the history of the program.

Ramer started the Villa Julie program from scratch in 1995-96, barely able to field a team. He began that first season with only five players - none of whom had any basketball experience. The program's inaugural game was a 105-25 loss to College of Notre Dame. The players, however, stuck it out and completed the year managing two wins.

In his 2005-2006 season, Ramer led the team to its highest record in the program history: 20-7. In 2006-2007, the team finished 12-4 in the conference and won the 8th Legg-Mason Winter Classic defeating Medgar Evers College, 58-45, and Wayensberg College, 48-43.

Coach Ramer is a 1971 graduate of Towson State College. He began the Towson Rec Council girls basketball program in 1970 and was involved with the program for 27 years. He also began the Towson Tornadoes AAU girls program in 1990 and expanded from one team to 18 teams as the Maryland Tornadoes over the next 13 years.

Ramer was a physical education teacher in the Baltimore County school system for 29 years. He retired from teaching and now works full-time as Assistant Athletic Director and Athletic Facilities Manager at Villa Julie. He and his wife reside in Towson, MD.

Jeremy Munson Women's Basketball

Jeremy Munson enters his second season as an assistant under Coach Chris Ramer for the Mustangs. Prior to coming to Villa Julie College, Munson was an Assistant for the Waynesburg College Women's basketball team for 5 seasons following a one year stint with the Waynesburg College Men's basketball team. In those 5 seasons at Waynesburg Munson helped rebuild the program that had 5 consecutive losing seasons before his arrival.  He help guide Waynesburg to 51 wins, which more than doubled its previous 5 season win totals. They also achieved their first conference and playoff win since 1998, and he helped coach 5 all conference players including Rachel Dillion who broke the schools all time assist record, and Candice Eyerman who holds every shooting record in the schools history. Candice was also selected to the NCAA AT&T Long Distance Shootout her senior year as an alternate, the only division three player selected.  In 2003 Munson set a record of his own, as he became the youngest coach to ever record a win in the history of the Presidents Athletic Conference with a victory over Frostburg State University.  Jeremy resides in Patapsco Hall as he also works full time for Villa Julie College as one if it's resident directors.
