LEBANON, Pa. - The Stevenson women's golf team won its school record fourth-straight tournament after placing first in the team standings at the Lady Dutchmen Invitational, held at the Lebanon Country Club. The Mustangs, who won the tournament by 37 strokes over second-place Arcadia with a team score of 360, have won a school-record eight tournaments on the year.
Senior Morgan Wirtz won the tournament by seven strokes with a nine-over par 81. Wirtz has three tournament wins on the year and eight for her career.
Placing second in the tournament was freshman Laura Rentz (88), who now has three top-two finishes this season.
Freshman Emma VanDeCar picked up her sixth top-10 finish on year after finishing tied for sixth with a 95. Freshman Elise Glauser carded a 96 to finish tied for eighth. Glauser now has three top-10 finishes on the year.
The Mustangs return to action at the Arcadia Invitational, held at the Cedarbrook Golf Club, on Monday, April 16. Tee time is set for 12:00 pm.
